Ensuring your workforce has a right to work in the UK is crucial, but it is often an area that is overlooked.  If a proper checking process is not followed and you employ someone illegally, the penalties can be severe; a fine of up to £20,000 per illegal worker and in extreme cases, your senior team can face imprisonment and unlimited fines. It can also affect a business’ ability to apply for a sponsor licence.

The good news is that following the correct process is easy. In this session we will take you through those processes step by step and dispel common myths about right to work checks.

We will also explain the changes to right to work checking processes that came into effect on 1 October 2022.
