Another great first from Zego

This week, our client Zego, the fast-growing start-up offering flexible insurance solutions to the gig economy, announced the successful completion of its Series C fundraise of $150 million, with a valuation of $1.1 billion.

This means that Zego has become the first UK InsurTech to secure unicorn status. The deal is testament to Zego’s hard work and a marker of the fantastic UK InsurTech landscape.

Zego also blazed a trail in 2019 by becoming the first UK InsurTech to secure its own insurance licence.

We are excited to see how Zego uses this latest fundraise to help more customers requiring flexible vehicle and scooter insurance.
